Von einem Kollegen mit den Worten „Ich kann mich nach einem Update nicht mehr auf unserer ASA einloggen“ aufgescheucht bin ich heute auf folgendes Detail im Changelog der ASA 9.1.3-Software von Cisco gestoßen:

„Upgrading to 9.1(2.8) or 9.1(3) or later—See the „Upgrade Path and Migrations“ section. ASDM login issue in 9.1(3) and later—You can no longer log into ASDM with no username and the enable password. You must configure ASDM AAA authentication (the aaa authentication http console command and associated username configuration) and/or ASDM certificate authentication (the http authentication-certificate command). Before you upgrade to 9.1(3), be sure to configure one of these authentication methods. For example, to configure a local user „admin“, enter the following commands

username admin password 7ks02y7

aaa authentication http console LOCAL
